In partnership with Scottish Canals and Edinburgh Council through the Edinburgh Canal Strategy, we have transformed a disused waste land into to a thriving outdoor activity gateway. Bridge 8 is housed in repurposed shipping containers on the Union Canal which encompasses our Paddle Cafe, Bridge 8 Bike Repairs, toilets and indoor and outdoor meetings facility. We provide outdoor activities to a range of schools, youth groups, community groups, corporate and outdoor enthusiasts. As a Social Enterprise our core principle is to ensure that anyone wishing to access the outdoors has the opportunity to do so. The Centre and all activities are run in accordance with the latest government and national governing bodies advice.

Sean (Manager/Founder) of Bridge 8 Hub is at the helm of this Social Enterprise. He is a highly experienced / qualified outdoor instructor who has over 20 years experience working in a variety of outdoor activity centres both domestically and international.
