Camping & Glamping on Glasgow to Edinburgh Canoe Trail
Following the Union Canal and the Forth & Clyde Canal from Bridge 8 you can paddle across the central belt exploring the amazing countryside. The Glasgow to Edinburgh Canoe trail is a fantastic trail suitable for paddlers of all abilities. Tucked away on the Union Canal (10km) you’ll find camping and glamping hideaway spots to suit couples, families or groups of friends at Linnwater Caravan Park. Working in partnership we can outfit activities during your stay.

Responsible Access: When out paddling or exploring under the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, you must take responsibility for your own actions on and off the water. Bridge 8 can help by providing you with further local knowledge on responsible access at the time of hire also. This includes parking, access and egress location, wild camping, and campfire etiquette whilst on the Union Canal. As a responsible business, equipment hire will always be supported by direct coaching and indirect support whilst out. For those who have no experience or looking at venturing into unknown waters, professional guiding services are available. Alternatively, Bridge 8 can offer a skills/safety training workshop for those wishing to hire equipment without any experience.
